I have used American Lawn-Works 770-606-0882, Mr. Lee Simple for my sprinklers. All of mine in the backyard were outside of my fence once constructed and had to be moved. I also had 2 busted lines. He gives free estimates and the price was very low to do the above. I felt he did a good job. He also suggested to me that the sprinkler unit in garage needed a surge type protecter for where it plugged in. Apparently he has seen lightening strike a house and burn out the unit, which costs $300 or more to replace. His company uses and installs the same units we currently have. I thought that suggestion was helpful.
Non home related: I buy dog food at Red Bandana for many years now. All natural and way healthy! They have several brands to choice from, I use Breeders Choice. With the recent dog food scare, none of their products were involved. There is a new Red Bandana store at Mars Hill/Cobb Pwky behind the BP station. Ronnie is the owner and their dog food is not very expensive, especially when compared to Pet Smart. They also have do it yourself dog wash that is fabulous!
I have started taking my dogs to new groomer, Designer Dog on Acworth Due West Rd, heading towards West Cobb Avenues. Holly Brown is the owner and she does a great job. (although due to Henry's recent allergies he had to have it all cut off, so don't judge now when we are walking! ; ) ) Designer Dog's # is 770-792-DOGS.
Lastly, for in home pet sitting, I have used Sit N Play Pals. Clint Williams is owner, 770-314-9675. He does an excellent job. I trust him with keys to my home! He brings mail in, opens/closes blinds, turns on lights, puts the trash out on trash day, you name it... The dogs love him and he takes 30 minutes each visit to play with them. I have even used him for a 1x visit during those busy days when I am out all day and can't make it home to walk or feed.

Thanks tb for the great recommendations for the pups! We are going to check out Red Bandana this weekend (used to do the bathe your own dog at dog places for a small fee before when we lived in the city). Thinking about getting our Golden a summer shave, are the prices reasonable at your groomer as your dogs are a little larger than mine (but I think mine has more hair ;) ).
On another subject within this discussion...has anyone used "Grassroots"? They are literally right across the street from us off of New McEver and just offered a bid to be our lawn care service. The price (shocking) is lower than TruGreen, but I wanted to know if anyone else has used them before.
I found the groomer prices well within reason for what I have paid before on my dogs. Give her a call and see what she says. Good luck! I think you guys will like Red Bandana!
For Mother's Day I have asked to have my house cleaned and am wondering if anyone has a good housekeeping service they can recommend?
This Red Bandana place is awesome! They give you samples of these all natural foods...and with the recent scare and problems with the other bagged foods and canned foods...this is a great place to get safe all-natural food for the same if not sometimes even less than what you were paying at PetsMart/PetCo. FYI, they also sell cat food...
With the samples, you can take home many of them to your loving pet at home and let THEM choose what they will like. They are all healthy and some have different things and such...but overall, it's the taste texture that your animals might prefer over others. Anywho...check it out!

I saw the MACs comment about getting their golden a summer shave. Come check out our Sydney because she just got her summer cut done by Petco. I have to admit it's taken me a bit to get used to but she sure loves her new cut!

Residents continue to not clean up their dog poop, especially those who walk their dogs on the walking trail and the cul de sac
If you need a good plumber, I have the guy for you! Matt Irons 404-597-9440. He is a sub-contractor and does great work. I recently had the water main entering my home break off. Matt came over on a Sunday and fixed it at a great price! I highly recommend him!
