I am a huge fan of Capers in Kennesaw! For any who love down home country cooking, Doug's Place in Emerson is the best. They change their menu daily.....

We love Rosarios! Some of the best Italian food ever and Frank, the owner and his mother are just the greatest people!

I love Rosarios as well...good choice! It's also a great value for Italian...I got Lobster Bisque last time I was there and every spoon full had at least two good bites of lobster! The entire bowl...fantastic!

Good local BBQ = Barbecutie.
Good local Hamburger Joint = Five Guys
Good local Pizza Place = Johnny's Pizza

I know the last two are kind of "chains"...but they are local to Atlanta.

Where is Rosario's?

If you take Acworth Due West (or Nance from Old 41 then it turns into Acworth Due West) to Hwy 41/Cobb Pkwy. Take a left on 41 and head down to that other Wal-Mart. Right after the entrance to the Wal-Mart is a small stip mall on the right and Rosaria's is in that shopping center.

It's more old world family Italian instead of Fusco's more new Italian feel. You have your favorites like Lasagne and Chicken Parmesiana.

Also, if anyone likes Louisiana food...Henry's in downtown Acworth is apparently the best in Atlanta. Haven't tried it yet, but it is ALWAYS packed at all hours of the day...so get there before you get really hungry to outwait the wait.

Lesley & Donna,

If you like eating in Buckhead...give Fogo de Chao a shot...incredible endless food with a Brazilian flare. We also enjoy Felini's Pizza in the city as well (right off Peachtree at the old theater).

Baraonda at the Fox Theater in Midtown is also a great little authentic pizzeria (at the corner of Peachtree and 4th). Vortex Bar & Grill...great Hamburgers!! (I think has won a couple of awards for it)...one in Midtown and one at Little Five. They also have a great microbrew...

Love going into the city as well...always lots going on every weekend.

Luis and I went to Vinings Inn a few weeks ago and it was great! Nice wine selection, the spinach dip appitizer was tasty. Also, steak for the meal, yummy. It's across the street from where Garrison's and the Grape are in the Vinings.

The Blue Rige Grille is yummy :) We have been there only once, and it was memorable :)

Thanks for the directions to Rosario's, well have to give that a ride.

Henry's is very good. They offer take out if you can't beat the rush but the atmosphere is pretty good. Henry will visit the tables and he's pure cajan - nice guy and funny.

Sunday brunch at Trackside Grille in Kennesaw is good too.

Zeigler's Bar-B-Que is great! Mars Hill & Cobb Pkwy. Only take out, but fabulous. Brunch at Season's is good too on Sundays. Gotta love Henry's!

Been meaning to try out Zeiglers, but good to know it's takeout only.

This is a good post...we always love trying new places out!
